Cookies Without Oven

Cookies are the perfect afternoon treat to serve with tea or coffee. We rush to the departmental store if we want to have it, don’t we? But wait, what if we can easily bake it at our home with less ingredients available.

Here I am sharing very simple and instant cookies recipes. You can easily try this at home.

Here are the list of Required Ingredients for making Cookies:

1.Maida Flour-2 cups
2.Crushed Sugar-1 cup (You can grind normal sugar)
3.Cooking Oil or Ghee-1 Cup (Better to use ghee or butter)
4.Crushed Cardamom-6pcs (ovoid it’s outer part)
5.Dry fruits(Chopped Cashew, Almond and Kishmish) or use roasted sesame seed

Instructions:

1.Take a bowl, pour 1 cup oil and crushed sugar, mix them well.

2.Add maida flour slowly and stir well, make a dough, consistency should be similar to making of Roti. Cover and keep aside for 5 to 10 minute. It makes dough even smoother..Till then, heat up the Pan in low flame.

3.After 10 minutes, apply few drops of oil or ghee where you want to bake cookies. Cookies wont’s stick to plate if you apply it.

4.Take small portion of dough and make shape similar to biscuit or the shape you want. But don’t make it too thick since it takes longer to cook. Place them on the plate where you have applied oil. Put dry fruits over the shapes or roasted sesame seed.

5. Place a stand over the pan and Plate over the stand. Cover and cook at least for 10 to 15 minutes in medium flame.

6. After 10 minutes, check cookies, if they have turned little brown, they are cooked well. If not, cook again for 5 minutes.

7.Serve cookies with tea or coffee. It is the easiest snacks recipe. Hope you will enjoy. Happy Cooking.

कुकिज बनाउने विधि (In Nepali Language) :

१.सुरुमा एउटा बौलमा एक कप तेल र पिसेको चिनी राखी राम्रो सँग फित्नु पर्छ, त्यसपछि सुकमेल पाउडर पनि फिटेर थोरै-थोरै मैदाको पिठो राख्दै राम्रोसँग मिक्स गर्नु पर्छ , रोटि बनाउने जस्तो consistency बनाएर लगभग १० मिनेट जति पिठो मुछ्नु पर्छ।

२.पिठो मुछी सकेपछी ५  देखि १०  मिनेट छोपेर राख्नु पर्छ।

३. त्यतिबेला सम्म लो फ्लेममा प्यान तताई राख्दा हुन्छ।

४.एउटा प्लेट लिएर त्यसमा थोरै तेल राखेर राम्रो सँग प्लेट मा लगाउनुहोस *जुन प्लेटमा कुकिज बेक गर्दै हुनुहुन्छ* , अघि मुछेको पिठो फेरी २ मिनेट जति मुछेर सानो-सानो डल्ला बनाएर कुकिजको सेप बनाउनुस।

५. तताएको प्यानमा एउटा स्ट्याण्ड राखी त्यसमाथि प्लेट राख्नुहोस् , यसलाई ढाकेर १० देखि १५ मिनेट सम्म मिडियम फ्लेममा पकाउनुहोस् , अलि पाकेको जस्तो लागेन भने फेरी ५ मिनेट पकाउदा हुन्छ।

६. कुकिज रेडी भैसकेको छ , अब यसलाई चिया वा कफी सँग serve गर्न सक्नु हुन्छ
