How to make veg-thukpa soup

Hello Everyone,

Here I am sharing how I prepare Thukpa/Tibeetan Noodles Soup at home. Thukpa is a Himalayan Noodles Soup and is very popular in Nepalese Kitchen especially in winter seasons. However can be consumed in summer too.

There are various ways of preparing Thukpa/Tibeetan Noodles. One of them is I have presented here. I have prepared Veg Thukpa/Tibeetan Noodles Soup here. You can prepare with vegetables, chicken, and other meats. I will soon be sharing non-veg thukpa/Tibeetan Noodles soup.

For now, Here are the List of Required Ingredients:

1. Noodles

2. Green Peas

3. Coriander Leaf

4. Onion

5. Ginger Garlic Paste

6. Green Garlic

7. Oil

8. Capsicum

9. Carrot

10. Salt

11. Garam Masala

12. Tomato

13. Turmeric Powder

14. Chilli


Step 1: Boil Water and pour noodles, boil it 3 to 4 minutes, stir and adjust in pan

Step 2: Drain water wash with cold water to avoid it being sticky

Step 3: Heat up the Pan and add Oil

Step 4: Fry Chopped Onion until it become golden brow

Step 5: Add all the vegetables one by one: Capsicum, Carrot, Green Peas and stir fry

Step 6 : Add Turmeric Powder, Salt, Garam masala, Chopped green garlic, Ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes and add chopped tomato, cook few minutes

Step 7: Add Water and Boil it

Step 8 : Pour boiled noodles and boil 2 minutes

Step 9 : Now Serve garnishing coriander leaf…Enjoy!!
